Cathedral Peak Tour

This is a tough one day vertical endeavour!

This hike is not for beginners and certainly not for the fainthearted especially those that are afraid of heights. This is a hard trail with an altitude gain of 1500m done in a day. It is a strenuous hike with exposed scrambling sections where ropes maybe used to navigate these sections.

Cathedral peak is a freestanding peak in the Drakensberg mountains with an altitude of 3004m ASL with 360 degree views of the high berg.

We leave Jozi on Friday midmorning. We do the hike on Saturday early morning and back to Jozi on Sunday.

PACKAGE 1 COST:

R3100 (Incl Guide’s fees, Park fees, 2 x Dinner, 2 x night Dorm accommodation, Ropes and First Aid Kit). Excludes Breakfast and Transport.

PACKAGE 2 COST:

R3950 (includes transport from Joburg, Guide’s fees, Park fees, 2 x Dinner, 2 x night Dorm accommodation, Ropes and First Aid Kit). Excludes. Breakfast.

400km about 4hrs drive.
