What to Expect:

Ferreira Gold Mine Shaft is our first stop as we explore the mining history of Joburg. FGM operated here as early as Joburg’s finding during the gold and is an example of what the City of Gold has been built on. We consider this as the best kept secret of Joburg.

Joburg Culinary and Pastry School, although they are a culinary and pastry school, they offer some good cocktails. Situated on the first street in Joburg, Commissioner Street, in a building that once was home to Barclays Bank.

Cocktails at Rand Club at a previously gentlemen only club situation which was founded in 1887 just a year after Joburg was founded. Situated in Marshalltown, it has a rich history, and it makes a good cocktail stop!

Elevate Rooftop is situated again in Marshalltown and is a rooftop hangout spot for your perfect sundowners right downtown Joburg.
