Contemporary Art Galleries Tour

Join us for this NEW Contemporary Art Tour!

In collaboration with 223 Jan Smuts Creative Hub, where artists, enthusiasts, mentors, collectors, creators are located in the dynamic heart of Joburg. We are excited to bring you this Contemporary Fine Art tour which will explore some of the best fine art galleries Johannesburg has to offer.

This tour will be offered on the First Thursdays of the month as well as the Last Saturdays of the month all ending at 223 Jan Smuts Creative Hub, on 223 Jan Smuts avenue.

On First Thursdays of the month, tour will start at 3pm covering galleries such as Goodman gallery, Origin art gallery, Circa, Everald Read (Africa’s oldest commercial gallery), David Krut, Bkhz gallery and finishing off at 223 Jan Smuts Creative Hub until 19:00.

On Last Saturdays of the month, tour will start at 10am galleries such as Wits Art Museum (WAM), Goodman gallery, Origin art gallery, Circa, Everald Read (Africa’s oldest commercial gallery), David Krut, Bkhz gallery before finishing off at 223 Jan Smuts Creative Hub until 14:00.

A shuttle will be used from point to point transfers.

FEES:

R560 pp, R230 pp for kids under 12yrs to 6yrs. Price includes transfers, guide, a coffee or juice or tea or cool drink at the start of the tour at Pantry and refreshments at the end of the tour.

MEETING PLACE:

Pantry, 170 Jan Smuts Ave, Rosebank, JHB. There is secure parking behind Pantry but always convenient with Uber.
