Senior Citizens Hike

Formally known as The Senior Citizens Hike and now changed to The Wise Wildies Hike! 🙂

This hike is geared for our Golden Experienced Citizens! It is our community initiative where we give back our time taking our elderly on a hike or walk or amble through our very own Joburg’s Central Park called The Wilds. We do this hike every Tuesday and everyone is welcome!

We love hearing their stories, life experiences, connecting with them and spending quality time with them. This hike has been going on for three years going into four years now and its FREE of charge!

If you know of any senior citizen around you, please let them know or bring them for this short and refreshing hike. We will look after them!

TO BRING: Water, hats, walking sticks, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hand sanitizers and masks.

MEETING PLACE: Parking at The Wilds on Houghton Drive next to Roedean Private School.

ENTRY FEES: No Charges.

FITNESS LEVEL: Walking fit.

DISTANCE: 4km

START TIME: 9:00am

FINISH TIME: 12:00pm
